Mobility Innovations is a joint venture delivering a comprehensive range of vehicle adaptations manufactured by its 2 parent companies, Veigel Gmbh and Autochair Ltd.

Focused on servicing the North American vehicle adaptation dealer network, Mobility Innovations is dedicated to offering exemplary service, training and support to its dealer network to give them the confidence to offer our range of innovative solutions to help those with restricted mobility lead a more independent life.

Together, the two-family owned companies, have over 140 years experience in designing and developing vehicle adaptations to make car travel easy and accessible to all – whether as a driver or a passenger.

About Veigel

Veigel is a German company rich in tradition. Since 1920, Veigel have been developing dual controls for driving school vehicles as well as hand controls for individuals with physical disabilities, first in Künzelsau and today at their new location in Öhringen.

Veigel’s founder, Wilhelm Veigel was aware, as soon as in the 1920s, of the importance of being mobile.

Nearly a century later Veigel are market leaders and export their products from Germany around world and have been operating in America since 2008.

About Autochair

Autochair designs and manufactures a wide range of award-winning, high-quality vehicle adaptations from versatile person lifts to the most powerful scooter and wheelchair hoists on the market, previously available in the US through Pride Mobility Products.

Founded by engineer, David Walker OBE, after an accident left him paralysed in 1975. David invented the first Autochair in 1983 to help others, like himself, enjoy independent travel.  Over the last 3 decades Autochair has proudly helped tens of thousands of people all over the world to travel independently in their standard vehicle, without the need to buy a large, wheelchair accessible van.

Based in Derbyshire, England Autochair exports to over 38 countries worldwide.
